SAGC Scholarships Available to Students Attending Texas A&M University and Palo Alto College

San Antonio Garden Center annually awards a $2,000 scholarship to an area student attending Texas A&M University and who is working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in horticulture, floral design, or a related field.

In 2016, a second $1,000 scholarship will be available to students enrolled in the horticulture and landscaping program at our local Palo Alto College.

Information about both of the scholarships that will be awarded this year will be posted on this website later this Fall.

Our 2015 recipient is Kara Pyle, who attended Alamo Heights High school and is currently majoring in horticulture at Texas A&M University where her focus is on floral design (the Benz School of Floral Design) and event planning.

The scholarship fund is supported through donations to San Antonio Garden Center that designate the SAGC Scholarship Fund; Garden Center Life Memberships and proceeds raised at fundraising Scholarship luncheons.
